With more than 100 million nodes sold, PROFIBUS is the world's most widely used fieldbus. Well-maintained PROFIBUS networks will continue to operate reliably for many years to come, both in discrete manufacturing and in process plants in the process industries.
Production downtimes are costly! - If a faulty PROFIBUS is the reason for the failure, it could very probably have been avoided with professional planning, installation and maintenance.

The ½-day additional training course delves deeper into the topic of installation guidelines in accordance with PNO specifications and concludes with the "Certified Installer" exam. The successful graduate receives an official certificate with registration with the PNO. Companies often require this certification for technical personnel working on PROFIBUS projects.
