While the PROFIBUS- and CAN-communication in their various forms is a well established technique with a large installed base, PROFINET is still an early stage technology. Accordingly, the demand for information for these technologies is different.
As official PROFINET COMPETENCE CENTER and CERTIFIED TRAINING CENTER we offer trainings for both, the basics of the technology and for standard-compliant installation and reliable operation of the communications network in its equipment base.
This 2,5-day training provides an in-depth PROFINET overview. It conveys the technological foundation and explains aspects of the PROFINET specification using real-world examples.
On the third day of the training the exam to become Certified PROFINET Engineer (CPNE) is held. That day ends approximately at 2:00 p.m.
The participant will receive an official certificate of PI International for passing the exam.
At the end of the training, you will be able to confidently assess the necessary PROFINET requirements for your products. In addition, you have gained hands-on experience with actual PROFINET products. You get decision support on the issue which part of a PROFINET implementation you can realize yourself.
The participant receives a certificate at passing the exam. This is an official certificate issued by the PNO. The content of the training and the final examination has been certified by PROFIBUS / PROFINET International.
The training is targeted to PROFINET Device Manufacturers – technical project leaders, R&D managers, developers, and product managers.
Participants should be familiar with the basics of communication technology.
The price includes the training, course materials, certificates of participation from Softing, refreshments during breaks and lunch.
Softing developed this seminar for companies that need to commission PROFINET systems. The duration of the seminar is two and a half days.
The seminar includes an introduction to the basics of data transmission using Ethernet and to the PROFINET specification.
A large part of the course is dedicated to practical exercises such as troubleshooting and network decline.
A half-day exam is held on the third day of the seminar to become Certified PROFINET Installer (CPNI). The third day will end around 1 pm.
Participants who pass the exam will receive a certificate.
After the training you will be able to configure and commission a PROFINET network, to perform acceptance tests and to identify and correct potential network faults. There will be a final examination at the end of the training. Every participant who passes the final exam will receive an official certificate from the PROFIBUS/PROFINET International Trade Organization (PI International). The content of the course and the final examination have been approved by PI International.
The training is targeted to control engineers that supervise, perform or maintain network configuration and commissioning of PROFINET installations, in addition to persons who carry out acceptance tests in the field of PROFINET.
Participants should be familiar with the basics of industrial communication technology.
The price includes the training, course materials, refreshments during breaks and lunch.
On a third day we provide the examination to become a Certified PROFINET Installer with an official certification document provided by PI International.
