Modbus TCP/FF HSE to FF H1 Gateway

Direct FF H1 segment integration - Modbus TCP control systems or FF HSE asset management applications

With Softing’s FG-200, it is possible to integrate up to four FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus (FF) H1 links into control systems supporting Modbus TCP or into FF asset management applications. The FG-200 provides redundancy and is suitable for use in hazardous areas. This device features fast access to process data, while making use of FF advantages like reduced cabling, central field device parameterization, comprehensive diagnostics, or intrinsically safe device segments.

Overview

Integration of FF-H1 devices into Modbus TCP control systems

  • Parallel support of up to 4 FF-H1 channels, each for max. 16 field devices
  • Fast access to process data
  • Suitable for use in hazardous areas
  • FF Configuration Tool for easy commissioning

Access to FF H1 devices from plant asset management applications

  • Visitor mode for avoiding interference with network behavior
  • FF HSE interface for EDD based applications like Emerson’s AMS Device Manager (< V14.5)
  • DTM for FDT applications like PACTware, Yokogawa FieldMate, Honeywell FDM, E+H FieldCare

High availability

  • Redundancy link enabling device redundancy (D-3 according to FF-593)
  • Automatic mirroring of configuration data
  • Very fast redundancy switchover

The FG-200 is the successor product of FG-110.

End of Life Announcement FG-110.
