With their offering, Softing and ProComSol are responding to the growing trend of mobile data usage in industry applications. ProComSol will distribute Softing's new mobiLink interface for field device parameterization together with the ProComSol DevComDroid App for mobile devices. mobiLink is the first multi-protocol interface that combines HART master, Foundation fieldbus host and PROFIBUS PA master in a single device and offers USB and Bluetooth access. ProComSol has completed the HART interface for the DevComDroid App and is undergoing Beta testing. A version for Foundation Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA is planned for the second half of 2018.

mobiLink simplifies mobile access to field devices for plant operators, system integrators, device developers and other users in the process industries. It is suitable for parameterization, preconfiguration, commissioning, diagnostics and monitoring and supports FDT Frame Applications and major Engineering Tools.
