Softing and Emerson have jointly developed connectivity solutions for AMS Device Manager to connect field devices such as valves and transmitters in projects without DeltaV or Ovation.
Connect AMS Device Manager to Softing’s TH LINK PROFIBUS linking device then to a PROFIBUS I/O station and then to HART devices in the field. Use TH LINK PROFIBUS in AMS Device Manager projects for HART diagnostics and device management even where 3rd party DCS’s are installed.
In addition, TH LINK PROFIBUS monitors the health of your PROFIBUS network. TH LINK listens passively to the PROFIBUS DP protocol and monitors frame retries, network statistics, and missing termination resistors to provide early warning of PROFIBUS network health issues.
Emerson has tested and approved TH LINK PROFIBUS through the Alliance Program.
Connect AMS Device Manager to Softing’s FG-200 over FOUNDATION Fieldbus HSE and then to FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 field devices. Use FG-200 in your AMS Device Manager projects for H1 FF diagnostics and device management even where 3rd party DCS’s are installed.
Integrate up to four FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 links into control systems supporting Modbus TCP and AMS Device Manager supporting HSE.
FG-200 is suitable for use in hazardous areas and can be used in redundant configurations.
Emerson has tested and approved FG-200 Gateway through the Alliance Program.
