Comprehensive Set of Analysis Functions for CAN-Based Protocols
The X-Analyser offers a comprehensive set of features to analyze and troubleshoot CAN, CANopen, DeviceNet, and J1939 networks. The tool records messages and error frames and displays the data together with a timestamp in microsecond resolution.
In addition, the X-Analyser is able to generate data messages based on userconfigurable trigger conditions to simulate the behavior of individual devices, e.g. during the commissioning of CAN, CANopen, and DeviceNet networks. The X-Analyser is the ideal companion tool during commissioning and troubleshooting of any CANbased network.
Easy-to-Use Software Interface
The software interface of the X-Analyser is designed with the all-important ease-of-use aspect in mind. All main features are provided in a single window, making it simpler to use in restricted spaces such as within a vehicle. In addition, a user can easily operate the X-Analyser without a mouse since the tool supports an extensive set of hotkeys.
The support of symbolic names for CAN identifiers combined with on-the-fly filter capabilities render the X-Analyser into one of the easiest-to-use analysis tools available. The X-Analyser is an ideal tool for CAN beginners while, at the same time, offering the powerful features needed by CAN experts.
Easy-ro-Understand Information Display
The X-Analyser offers multiple options to visualize the recorded network data. For example, the tool is able to display the data as a time chart in a signal and linewriter display. Additional visualization options include, displaying the process data with the appropriate engineering units, the network statistics, and layer-7 information for CANopen DeviceNet, and J1939 networks. In short, the software interface of the X-Analyser offers the flexibility needed to support the multitude of CAN-based applications.
