    EtherCAT

    EtherCAT is an open real-time Ethernet network originally developed by Beckhoff. Various working groups of the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) are working on the further development of EtherCAT. The ETG has over 1,400 members offering products for a variety of application areas in the manufacturing industry.
